London Commuting - The Reality

We all complain about the horrors of commuting into and out of London, and in a fit of boredom (unsurprisingly, perhaps, this was whilst waiting for London Underground to actually run some trains!), I cobbled together this web site to make a summary of the issues. I picked on 2 factors:

Journey disrupted or not (in terms of nett delay - a simple, objective, binary choice)
Journey was otherwise unpleasant (a subjective judgement, but normally meaning the (non-air-conditioned) tube trains and platforms being too hot and/or too humid)

This log, commenced on Monday 10th May 204, reflects the problems on my commute from North West London into the Centre. This represents only the problems that affect that subset of the lines that I used on the day in question (my work means I use different offices on different days).

Bakerloo line extra busy - Central line closed Marble Arch-Acton due to derailment, and displaced passengers being routed via Willesden Junction to connect with shuttle service operating on western extremities
